/AFS/SIMGMRP_TRNSMRP - Activate Transaction-Dependent MRP

Here you can either activate the transaction-dependent MRP run for a special transaction group or for all transaction codes in the system that cause MRP-relevant changes, or you can deactivate the MRP run for a transaction group. When executing the transaction codes that are included in the active transaction group, the MRP is automatically carried out in the background. However, this is not valid for all other transaction codes that are included in the system.

If you do not activate a transaction group in this table, you automatically trigger the transaction-dependent MRP in the background when executing and updating the MRP-relevant transaction codes that are not included in this transaction group. In this case, the transaction group maintained here is excluded from the transaction-dependent MRP.

When creating a sales order, you automatically trigger the planning run in the background as soon as you update the sales order. Otherwise you trigger the transaction-dependent MRP when executing and updating all transaction codes that are included in the system, except when updating a goods receipt.

Set the MRP indicator to transaction-dependent MRP (material master, view: AFS MRP). Define your transaction groups and assign MRP-relevant transaction codes to them.

To automatically trigger the MRP run for a transaction group, you enter the following:

• Name of the transaction group

• Descriptive text

• Activation of the transaction-controlled MRP (X)

Decide if you want to activate or deactivate the transaction-dependent MRP for a transaction group.

In the material master you must set the MRP indicator to the transaction-dependent MRP to activate the transaction-dependent MRP or to exlude certain transaction codes from it. If you set the MRP indicator to transaction-dependent MRP but do not maintain a transaction group in the above mentioned table, you automatically trigger the MRP run in the background when executing and updating all transaction codes in the system that cause MRP-relevant changes.
