Basically, you can use value-added services within multi-store orders just as you would in sales documents. With MSO a quick delivery is important. Especially if your MSO contains several items, it could be helpful to group them for the execution of the same VAS.

In the application you can assign a VAS grouping indicator per item of an MSO I or II. Thus you enter which items can be grouped for the execution of the same VAS by your warehouse or distribution center.

This is at first only an additional piece of information in the order document. The system does not transfer it to subsequent documents. By transferring the indicator to an external system, you can control that your warehouse or distribution center gets all items listed per VAS type that are equally labeled, packed in the same box, or should get special services.

Via an MSO you supply a distribution center where you label some stores for further delivery. This delivery consist of remaining stock that should be quickly sold in individual department stores. Your ordering party requests the goods to be packed in large boxes per store, even if this means that different materials would be packed together.

For this you define an appropriate packing type and store it in the MSO document for all stores. You assign the same grouping indicator to all items. Depending on how you transfer this information, you can control the requested packing "everything together in large boxes".

You uniquely define a VAS grouping indicator by assigning an alphanumeric key with a maximum of two digits. You add a short informative text with which you can distinguish your indicators in the application.
