In this IMG activity you activate HTTP services of the Internet Communication Framework (ICF) to enable communication between SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure (SAP AII) and other systems.

  1. In Customizing for Auto-ID Infrastructure, choose Basic Settings → Device Communication Settings → Activate HTTP Services.
  2. To activate HTTP service, under default_host, choose sap → scm → AIN.
  • Specify the logon procedure (see the documentation for the Internet Communication Framework)

  • Specify the logon data (see the documentation for the Internet Communication Framework)

  1. To activate HTTP service, choose Sap → Xi → Engine
