In this IMG activity, you can see the profile types that are delivered in the standard configuration. Profile types in Entitlement Management correspond to condition types in condition technique. While you can create your own condition types at any time, you cannot create any new profile types in Entitlement Management. The assignment between condition types and profile types in the IMG activity Assign Condition Types To Profile Types, means that the system is flexible enough to represent the needs of your company.

The system automatically assigns certain profiles that you maintain in Customizing for Entitlement Management to one of the profile types. You carry out profile maintenance in the following IMG activities:

• Define Profile: Eligibility for Deposit Programs

The system automatically assigns the profiles in this table to the profile type Deposit Program (DEPPRG).

• Define Profile: Validity and Activation Periods

The system automatically assigns the profiles in this table to the profile type Entitlement Date Profile (ENDTPF).

• Define Profile: Eligibility for Rolling Purchase History

The system automatically assigns the profiles in this table to the profile type Rolling Purchase History (PURHIS).
