/CFMFND/EAM_EQTF - Customize Equipment Types for determination on installation

In this activity you define how the installation of Equipments is managed depending on the Equipment Type.

If installed Equipments a placed into Functional Locations in a CAD drawing automatically from within the CAFM AutoCAD Integration, only the Equipments of types having the column CAD checked are considered.

Enter the relevent Equipment Types and check the CAD column for them.

Check the column Cost. cat., if the Equipments of this type should not be installed into the areal Functional Location structure, but into a cost category based Functional Location structure.

The determination of the Functional Location for the cost category is done by the implementation of BAdI /CIDEON/EAM_EQ_INST. The default implementation determines the install location by the attributes Location and Room of the Equipment and Functional Location. You can find the implementation of the BAdI in the relevabt Customizing activity.
