You use this Customizing activity to define forecast methods applicable to specific resource types.

The definition of forecast methods allows you to indicate a specific forecast method for a specific plan scenario, when you link plan scenarios to resource types (in Define Plan Scenarios).

Caution

If you upgrade to Commercial Project Management 1709 onwardsfrom the lower add-on releases SAP Commercial Project Management for S/4HANA 2.0 SP01 and SP02, you must execute the following report to ensure data consistency of forecasting methods:

/CPD/PFP_FORECAST_DATA_TRANS
