/CRMS/CMG_PARTNER_DE - BAdI: Partner Determination

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the component Case Management to determine the appropriate business partner for a case.

This BAdI is called up in the following situations:

• If a new case is created, you can use this BAdI to assign default business partners for certain business partner functions.

• If a business object is linked to a case, you can use this BAdI to transfer the business partners from the business object into the case.

This BAdI can be implemented under the following conditions:

• You use a case record model to define a business partner assignment.

• You have created partner determination procedures in Customizing for Case Management, by choosing -> Process Partners -> Define Partner Determination Procedures.

• You have assigned partner determination procedures to one or more case types in Customizing for Case Management,by choosing Process Partners -> Assign Partner Determination Procedures.

Please note that only the partner functions that are included in the partner determination procedure for the case type are transferred. The system also checks the minimum and maximum values entered in Define Partner Determination Procedures.

A standard delivery implementation (/CRMS/CRM_CMG_PARTNER_DETERM) of the new version of the BAdI is provided that calls any existing implementations of the old version (/CRMS/CMG_PART_DETER). For more information, see SAP Note 1058861.

Implementation /CRMS/CMG_PART_DETER does not have a filter value and BAdI /CRMS/CRM_CMG_PARTNER_DETERM is not reusable. Consequently, if you use the new implementations of BAdI /CRMS/CMG_PARTNER_DETERMwith existing implementations of BAdI /CRMS/CMG_PART_DETERsimultaneously, then you may not activate the implementation /CRMS/CMG_PART_DETERsince it does not contain any filter values. Instead, create your own BAdI implementation based on the same coding and supply appropriate filters.

Note: Do not activate the standard delivery implementation under the following conditions:

• You do not have implementations of the previous version of the BAdI
