This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in component SAP CRM Case Management (CRM-CMG).

You can use this BAdI to determine the appropriate business partner for a case.

This BAdI is called up in the following cases:

• If a new case is created, you can use this BAdI to assign default business partners for certain business partner functions.

• If a business object is linked to a case, you can use this BAdI to transfer the business partner(s) from the business object into the case.

This BAdI can be implemented under the following conditions:

• You use a case record model that takes care of business partner assignment.

• You have created partner determination procedures in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management by choosing Case Management --> Extended Customizing --> Partners --> Define Partner Determination Procedures.

• You have assigned partner determination procedures to one or more case types in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management by choosing Case Management --> Extended Customizing --> Partners --> Assign Partner Determination Procedures.

Please note that only the partner functions that are included in the partner determination procedure for the case type are transferred. The system also checks the minimum and maximum values entered in Define Partner Determination Procedures.

This BAdI is not reusable. In other words, only one active BAdI implementation is called.
