In this Customizing activity, you maintain the relationship between the deal transaction type, the mode of transport, and the relevant locations. For each combination, you can map the location type to origin, destination, or both. The system uses these entries to determine the plant to use in contracts.

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter the following data:
Field Name Field Value
Transaction Type Select a purchase or sale transaction type.
Mode of Transport Use F4 help to select a valid mode of transport and description, for example, 01.
Description The mode of transport description is automatically filled in, for example, Truck.
Relevant Location Select the relevant location from the dropdown list, for example, Origin, Destination, or Origin/Destination.

  1. Save your entries.
