/DMBE/VM_SCHEDUL - Define Scheduling Desk

In an Oil and Gas industry business process there is a concept that allows a scheduler to be selected as part of the deal. Assigning a team or group as the scheduling desk helps that team or group identify deals for it needs to manage the logistics execution. The designated team or group may also appear in the paper contract output.

This concept is captured at Deal header level and replicated to details, allowing traders to specify distinct scheduling desks per detail if necessary.

Once a deal is published, this new field can be used to notify schedulers of relevant changes and to help in RICEFW and reporting to identify deals on which they need to act.

Not specifying a specific system user gives you the flexibility when scheduling activities to switch to a different owner more easily, and makes it possible to specify when an activity is handled by a group of people.
