Up to four totals categories are available. You can define their names here.

In material master maintenance, you can assign one of these totals categories and a unit of measure to the material.

For each document (order, delivery, shipment), the system determines dynamically the material quantities that have the same totals category in the material master. The system adds up the relevant material quanities and displays the result for each totals category. You define the conversion factor in the material master, with which the system determines the material quantities for each document.
