In this IMG activity, you define customer-specific tour status IDs.

A DSD tour is processed in a number of individual steps that are carried out in different SAP applications and in different components, such as back end, middleware, and mobile. The tour status allows you to document the current processing status of a tour. The tour status is set by the system.

If the SAP standard processing of a DSD tour is enhanced by additional customer-specific steps that are also documented with their own tour status IDs, you can define new tour status IDs in this IMG activity. The number range for customer-specific tour status IDs is 80000000 through 99999999.

A tour status can trigger a synchronous follow-up activity. This is not always possible for technical reasons, however, and should be excluded to avoid an update termination during processing. This applies for all processing steps that are carried out IN UPDATE TASK and set a new tour status.

If you select the No Activity field, you cannot trigger a synchronous follow-up activity with this tour status.

Note

Regardless of the No Activity field, you can trigger several activities for each tour status. The system starts these activities asynchronously.
