/DSD/VC_CALTYP - Define Calendar Types
PERFORM Short Reference BAL Application Log DocumentationThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this menu type, you define your own calendar types. The calendar type is used to determine how one customer's appointments, which are planned in visit control, are grouped together.
You assign the calendar type to a visit plan type. When you create a visit plan, a calendar is created for each customer who has been assigned this visit plan in accordance with the calendar type of the visit plan type.
If you want to assign a calendar type to a visit plan type, you must define the interval 'NU' for the number range object 'TSTREAMID'.
Explanation:
The system generates a time stream in the visit controlling for each customer and each
calendar type, which contains all appointments that result from visit plans and visit lists. The system
manages the large number of time streams usisng a time stream ID. The system uses the interval 'NU' described above to allocate numbers to the time stream ID.
