Analytics Customizing allows you to trigger the aggregation of Forecast and Replenishment information so you can later use Analytics predefined reports and receive replenishment alerts on stock situations, forecast comparisons, service levels and range of coverage. Only automatically replenished products are available for analytical reporting.

Under Weekly Reports, select the reports for which you want to aggregate weekly data. This data will be sent to the Business Warehouse for reporting. If you do not select any reports, the Analytics predefined weekly reports will not be available.

For the Forecast Quality Report, you need to specify the number of periods (weeks) in the future for which the extra forecasts are to be kept and compared to the latest calculated forecast. This way you can compare the latest forecast, as well as forecasts generated two or four weeks prior, against the actual consumption values and therefore validate its correctness and quality.

For the Range of Coverage Development Report, you need to specify whether the goods issues need to be part of the range of coverage calculation. If this is the case, the goods issues will be subtracted from the forecast during the calculation of the range of coverage. This way the range of coverage will include the planned transfer of products to other stores.

Under Daily Reports, select the reports for which you want to aggregate daily data. This data will be sent to the Business Warehouse for reporting. If you do not select any reports, the Analytics predefined daily reports will not be available.

The Overstock Report is triggered by the Maximum Stock Percentage which allows you to specify a percentage of the maximum stock at which you want the overstock exception to be raised. An entry of 100% means that the stock is compared to the exact maximum stock defined in the master data of the product/ location.

The Understock Reportis triggered by the Minimum Stock Percentage which allows you to specify a percentage of the minimum stock at which you want the understock exception to be raised. An entry of 100% means that the stock is compared to the exact minimum stock defined in the master data of the product/ location. The system uses the Minimum Stock Indicator as a reference point for determining the minimum stock level.

Minimum Stock Variance Report and Forecast Quality Report are not delivered in active mode because they can generate large volumes of data. You should decide whether or not you need these reports.

Maximum Stock Percentage and Minimum Stock Percentage can be set in the Base Exception Profile.

Examples for Minimum Stock Percentage and Maximum Stock Percentage.
