The process control profile contains settings for the automatic forecast and requirements calculation.

  • General Settings
  • Start of Planning Day

Start day and time of the FRP planning day
  • Synchronize Public Holiday Closures

The update rhythm of the public holiday closure information for the location
  • Requirement Calculation Frequency

Days with requirements calculation
  • Forecast Frequency

Settings that determine which forecast frequency profile should be used to determine the days on which a forecast calculation should be done (see Maintain Forecast Frequency Profile).
  • Order Forecast Frequency

Settings that determine which order forecast frequency profile should be used to determine the days on which an order forecast calculation should be done (see Maintain Order Forecast Frequency Profiles)
  • Parameter Optimization Frequency

Settings that determine which parameter optimization frequency profile should be used to determine the days on which a parameter optimization should be done (see Maintain Parameter Optimization Frequency Profiles)
The Parameter Optimizationprocess automatically determines settings for the Regression and Smoothing forecast method, which can be defined manually in the Forecast profile.
  • FRP Cleanup Frequency
    Settings that determine the days an FRP Cleanup should be done
    The FRP Cleanup deletes obsolete data from the FRP data environment

  • Deferred Checks
    Control of checks that can be executed inside or outside the time critical window

  • Forecast Frequency
    Assignment of forecast frequency profile to ABC classification. This is only relevant if the ABC classification of the location product is defined as the level on which the forecast frequency profile is assigned (see forecast frequency type).

You must define one profile as the default profile. The system uses this profile if no other profile is maintained in the master data.

You must make sure that you update the productive client so that the settings from the Customizing client do not overwrite the settings in the productive client.
