You create at least one RFC destination of type H (HTTP Connections to ABAP System) and two RFC destinations of type 3 (ABAP Connections) (Create RFC Connections). The RFC destination of type H is used to call transactions in SAP ERP via launchpad. One RFC destination of type 3 is used with a technical user for the data transfer via RFC. The other RFC destination of type 3 is used to retrieve remote data, for example, to get the stock information from SAP ERP.
You enable the navigation from SAP GBT to the user interfaces of the source systems of referenced objects. The navigation to the source systems is possible from each object detail screen.
