This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Global Batch Traceability (CA-GBT) component. You can use this BAdI to modify the data shown in the graphical view of the global batch traceability network (network), and to add additional functions.

You can use the following BAdI methods:

  • With method DATA_MODIFY, you can modify the following data in the graphical view:
  • Network node instances including labels and colors

  • Network edge instances

  • Texts of buttons and context menus

  • Events of custom buttons and custom entries of network node context menus, and network edge context menus

  • With method CUSTOM_GENERIC_EVENT_PROCESS, you can handle your custom button callbacks.
  • With method CUSTOM_NODE_EVENT_PROCESS, you can handle custom entries in network node context menus.
  • With method CUSTOM_EDGE_EVENT_PROCESS, you can handle custom entries in network edge context menus.
  • With method CLEANUP, you can clean up non-local modifications, for example, static class variables or function group variables, when navigating away from the graphical view. Other views, for example, the top-down or bottom-up table view, are not affected as a result.

Note: Constants for fields of parameters of method DATA_MODIFY can be found as attributes of interface /GBT/IF_EX_UI_NW_GFX. For example, /GBT/IF_EX_UI_NW_GFX=>GC_SETTING_NODEZOOM_MAX is used for altering the maximum node size via parameter CT_SETTINGS. The default value for this setting is 65 (percent).

For more information about the standard settings (filter, single or multiple uses), see the Enh. Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

If you have defined custom object types, for example, custom integration of business documents, you can set a distinctive color for these nodes in the graphical view of the network.
