In this Customizing activity, you define the following basic settings for processing GBA messages:

• The Business Framework Plus (BRFplus) application that you use to process GBA messages

• The BRFplus Function that you use to process GBA messages

• The mapping that is used to assign GBA fields to direct input structures in the Service Mapping Tool (SMT)

• The Identification Type that the system uses to identify A-numbers on the Identification tab page in business partner master data

• The Identification Type that the system uses to identify BSN numbers on the Identification tab page in business partner master data
