In this Customizing activity, you define the settings for the transfer of process and production orders from the feeder system to the SAP GTS system.

You can define settings for the following reference applications:

  • PP0A: Production Orders
  • PP0B: Process Orders
  1. Choose the reference application for which you want to define the transfer settings.
  2. Assign all plant and order types that are relevant for the transfer. Here, you can define the following statuses:
    1. Simulation: Choose the status that the order should have to be relevant for executing a simulated preference calculation via transaction /IBPP/R3_SIM_ORD_TR. The system does not store or change any data during the simulation.
    2. Real Run: Choose the status that the order should have to be relevant for transferring the order to the GTS system. In contrast to the simulation, the orders should be completed, so that all relevant data (for example, all goods movements that are booked) is available. Based on that data, the system executes the preference calculation and uses the results in follow-up processes.
  3. Assign relevant movement types per reference application, plant and order type combination. You have to decide the movement types that are relevant for goods receipts and goods issues for an order. Consider including the respective cancellation movement types.

Note:

The system checks the goods receipt movement types when a goods receipt is posted for an order. If the system considers a movement type of a material document item as relevant, then the system creates a worklist entry for the referenced order. The system, however, does not consider the status here.

The goods issue movement types are only used in the simulated preference calculation and the transfer of order reports. Together with the goods receipt movement types, they are used to identify the goods movements (and for example, the batches) that were considered during production.
