/IBX/SORT - Define Sort Order

In this IMG activity, you make the settings for the sort function.

1. At sort level, select a name for the new sort rule and enter it in the "Configuration" field. You use this name as the configuration in the Customizing activity Override and Define Process Steps Based on Run Type. Save your entries at this level.

2. In the Data Structure field at the General Details level, enter the DDIC type of the data to be sorted. Here, you can also define whether data is to be bundled and how it is sorted in this case. Set the relevant flags for this. Save your entries at this level.

3. Under Sort Fields, enter the names and settings of the fields to be used for sorting.

In the Customizing activity Override and Define Process Steps Based on Run Type, you must have assigned the sort function to the process for which you want to make the settings.
