In this activity, you can control how additional parts are to be assigned when a material planning object is assigned to another object (for example, force element or material container). You can make separate settings for mandatory parts, optional parts, and additional parts to define whether they are to be:
- Preselected (field: Preselect AP Assgt)
- Selected but changeable during detailed planning (field: Changeable AP Assgt)
The following settings are provided in the standard system:
- Mandatory parts: preselected
- Optional parts: preselected and changeable
- Additional parts without indicator: changeable
Specify whether each type (mandatory part, optional part, additional part without indicator), is to be preselected (field: Preselect AP Assgt) or whether the selection is to be changeable (field: Changeable AP Assgt).
