In this IMG activity, you configure the settings for Loss Management. A material loss that is to be posted is entered in the system as scrap.

Define the posting control data in the transaction with which you want to post a loss (scrap) (for example, /ISDFPS/MASS_LOSS):

• Movement type in Inventory Management with which the scrap is to be posted, for example, 551.

• Cost center

• Document type of the purchase requisition

• Destination storage type for the material to be scrapped

• Destination storage area for the material to be scrapped

• Destination storage bin for the material to be scrapped

• Movement type in Warehouse Management for the transport request for scrapping

• Reason for variance in proof of delivery

• Additions 1 to 4 for additional entries in order to identify the Loss Management transports

• Operation type to identify the transport document
