In this Customizing activity, you maintain the class type that is used for material determination. A material belongs to a material determination group. The materials in a group share a set of characteristics that can be measured and used during the evaluation of Discount Premium Quality Schedules (DPQS).

Create an entry for each of the following class usages:

  • For Volume/Value Schedule
  • Reference Commodity Code
  • Rank

Enter a class type for each usage. A Characteristic Namemust be assigned to the Reference Commodity Code and Rankusages only.
