In this section you create the layout of the different list variants that are available in the allocation environment. With help of the ABAP List Viewer (see also the Standard documentation on the ABAP List Viewer), the output of lists is standardized. It is not only standardized from the view of the user interface and the list layout, but also from the view of the generic function that is contained in the list.

• In the section Structures, the individual display groups and their variants are combined for each application. For example, all layout variants that have been generated for the list layout of the management tool are combined in display group C. You can design your own layout for each variant.

• In the section Variant, the actual variant is generated within a display group. A field catalog is available from which you can choose the required fields. After saving the variant, it is automatically entered in the corresponding display group in the section Structures. However, the layout is still empty and must be designed.
  

• In the section Totals, the fields are defined with which you can create totals. This is stored in a totals variant.
  

• In the last section it is defined, which layout variant should be displayed with which totals variant as the default value in the application. If you have created alternative layout variants, you can choose them from the corresponding application.
