/AFS/SIMGSD_CUSTGRP6 - Define AFS Customer Groups

In addition to the customer groups of the Standard R/3 System, the Standard AFS System offers you five additional customer groups. You can use these to group your customers according to your business processes and requirements using the criteria of your choice.

You can use these customer groups in addition to those of the Standard R/3 System.

The customer groups of the Standard AFS System are valid per sales organization. This allows you a more detailed grouping of your customers.

You are using customer groups 6 to 10 to group your customers by region. Within the customer groups you group your customers by size (large, medium, small customers).

Enter an alphanumeric key for your customer groups (up to three characters) and a description.

In the customer master data you can define in the AFS Additional data ofthe Sales view

1. to which of the five customer groups the customer belongs
2. to which group within the five customer groups the customer belongs

The system automatically copies this information at header level into the sales documents. There you find the customer group on the detail screen "Additional group" of the AFS Sales view.
