In this IMG activity you enter the partner type for an object (sales location). You define partner types by describing the partner functions in contract handling. You use the partner type to determine what type of partnership applies in each case.
The standard delivery contains proposals for partner types.
Use the proposed partner types or enter your own. Enter a numeric key with up to four digits and a description for each new partner type.
Examples of partners in an object are:
- Operator
- Sold-to party
- Ship-to party
- Bill-to party
- Contract partner
- Contact partner
