The Graphic Integration enables the user to work with Facility Management Objects like Equipments, Functional Locations or Architectural Objects interactively. Therefore the Graphic Integration has a context sensitive menu.

In this activity define the items of the context menu and build up the menu structure depending on the Application Context.

1. Definition of Menu Items

As the first step doublecheck the provided menu items by selecting node "Menu Items" in the navigation structure. On the right hand side you see the menu items with their text and the implementation status. The signal lights mean:

  • Red There is no BAdI implementation for this menu item or the BAdi implementation is inactive
  • Green There is an active BADI implementation

You may create new menu items in the customer namespace and give it a language dependend text. Afterwards you define which menu item is available for which object types and which user roles. E.g. you can restrict a menu item to appear only for Functional Locations.

To realize a new menu item in the Graphic Integration you need to implement BAdI /CFMFND/IFE_ENH_CTX_CONTRB or /CFMFND/IFE_ENH_CTX_RUN (Enhancement Spot /CFMFND/ENH_GI_CTX_MNU) and define the Menü name as filter value. To implement a BAdI you transaction SE19.

2. Definition of the menu structure

Define the structure of the context menu in the Graphic Integration for the appropriate application contexts. These setting are designed to enable the user to work with different menus in different Applications.
