/DMBE/COMB - Define CPE Routine Relevancy

In this Customizing activity, you configure the commodity pricing engine (CPE) routines for the terms of pricing that are used in deal details. Instead of displaying every CPE routine on the user interface, you can use this Customizing activity to define which routines are required for your business needs. You can define routines for each of the following terms of pricing:

• Combination routine

• Pricing offset

• Pricing time unit of measurement

• Weekend and holiday rule

• Nearby maturity
  

You can specify the following settings in this activity:

• CPE module

The module CPE Formula Evaluationis used for Deal Capture.

• CPE submodule

Select the different CPE submodules that you want to use. The CPE submodules are mapped to the terms of pricing fields. The table below lists which CPE submodules are linked to the terms of pricing fields.

• Routine

Define which CPE routines can be used for the terms of pricing.

Before you execute this activity, ensure that you have configured the routines in Customizing for Commodity Pricingunder Commodity Pricing Engine-> General CPE Settings-> Define CPE Routine.

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Select the CPE module CPE Formula Evaluation.
3. Select the submodule that corresponds to the pricing term you want to configure.
4. Select the routine for the pricing term.
5. If you want to add more than one routine for a pricing term, add a new row, select the same submodule, and select a different routine.
6. Save your entries.
