/DMBE/CUS_RINS_INTEG - BAdI: RINs Integration

This BAdI is responsible for encapsulating the logic for determining Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs) credits data into the Deal Capture application.

This BAdI is called into the /DMBE/CLR_RINS_WRAPPER class, which encapsulates the BAdI calling for testing purposes. See the where-used list for interface /DMBE/IFR_RINS_WRAPPER.

In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation.

Create a BAdI implementation for BAdI /DMBE/BADI_RINS_INTEGRATION of enhancement spot /DMBE/ES_RINS_INTEGRATION.

Renewables regulations allow traders to get credits for buying and selling renewable fuels. There is a need to track these credits throughout the lifecycle of each deal since by law there is a minimum amount of credits required to be negotiated by any given refinery.

When creating a new deal with a renewable material that is RINs relevant, as determined by this BAdI using the method IS_RINS_RELEVANT, the corresponding RINs section is displayed on the Deal Capture screen.

IS_RINS_RELEVANT: This method receives two parameters; Material and Company Code to determine whether the Material is RINs relevant or not, based on Material and Company Code characteristics.
