/EACC/SIMG_COMP_DEFI - Define Components
General Material Data BAL_S_LOG - Application Log: Log header dataThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
This activity is not necessary for standard configuration of e-accounting. If, however, you want to program components yourself, and want to assign these to a data basis in business accounting, you can announce your new component in the accounting framework and define the required control data.
You know the accounting framework and want to program a new component for it.
In the standard, business accounting offers the following components that are stored in system table /EACC/TCOMPON:
Name | Type | Optional | Activatable | Description |
COSTREV | Journal | yes | yes | Cost and Revenue Journal |
ENGINE | Accounting Engine | no | no | Accounting Engine |
FLOWCON | Flow Control | no | no | Flow Control |
LOCINTEG | Local Integrity | no | no | Local Integrity |
PROFMAN | View | yes | yes | Profitability Management View |
PUREPROFIT | Business Transaction | yes | yes | Business Transaction Pure Profit |
By choosing New Entries you can add a component. Give the component a technical name and assign it a component type. Any component that you add must have the optional indicator, as it does not correspond to any preset functionality.
If your component can be configured, or if it can receive settings from other components, you can generate DDIC entries that your component requires at runtime. If so, your component should participate in activation. Set the corresponding indicator.
Finally, you can give your component a language-dependent description.
Generally, components of types Business Transaction, Journal or View are added, as these types are used to enhance the application functionality of business accounting.
