In this Customizing activity, you define the exceptions for inclusion and exclusion of partner countries and regions.

As default, the system selects dispatches to and receipts from all member states of the European Union. If exceptions to this standard logic are required, you must define these exceptions in this Customizing activity.

An exception to the standard logic is required, for example, in the following case: Monaco is not a member state of the European Union. However, dispatches to and receipts from Monaco must be reported in Intrastat. Therefore, you must define an exception for the inclusion of dispatches to and receipts from Monaco in Intrastat.

This Customizing activity is relevant for all member states of the European Union.

Define the exceptions for inclusion and exclusion of partner countries and regions.

Example for Inclusion

To include Monaco as a partner country for Germany in Intrastat, you define the following entry:

  • Country of Declaration: DE (Germany)
  • Partner Country: MC (Monaco)
  • Partner Region: You do not have to enter a partner region because Monaco is included as an entire country.
  • Inclusion: Yes
  • Exclusion: No
Note
For all included partner countries, you may also have to define an entry in the Define Exceptions for Conversion of Partner Countriesand Define Exceptions for Conversion of Countries of Origin Customizing activities.

Example for Exclusion

To exclude the Spanish province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife as a partner region for Germany in Intrastat, you define the following entry:

  • Country of Declaration: DE (Germany)
  • Partner Country: ES (Spain)
  • Partner Region: 38 (Santa Cruz de Tenerife)
  • Inclusion: No
  • Exclusion: Yes
