/FRE/FRP_002 - Maintain Requirement Quantity Optimization Profiles

The requirement quantity optimization profile provides settings for optimizing order proposals. The profile will be assigned to a target location in the master data.

For a given profile, each step of the optimization can be turned off across a location. In this case, the system ignores any assigned profiles in the master data. There are also settings for rounding and restriction checks.

You must define one profile as the default profile. The system uses this profile if no other profile is maintained in the master data.

SAP provides ongoing settings so that, if necessary, you can make Customizing settings in the productive system.

Note

You must make sure that you update the productive client so that the settings from the Customizing client do not overwrite the settings in the productive client.
