In this Customizing activity, you can describe the type of information for each class field that is transferred in messages that you send to (outgoing messages) or receive from the central GBA authority (incoming messages).

The class field descriptions that you enter in this activity, help you identify the purpose of the given field on the Requested Fields screen in the Customizing activity Define Information Content of Outgoing Messages.

You can enter any description or you can use GBA class field descriptions. You can download these description from the official website of the Personal Records and Travel Documents Office (Basisadministratie Persoonsgegevens en Reisdocumenten) of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs and Kingdom Relations (Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijksrelatie).
