/IBS/RB_ACC_UPD - RBD: Set Additional Update Option

In this Customizing activity, you can specify whether an RBD account is to be updated even if one of the planned records has already been submitted for further quality assurance or has been changed manually. With the appropriate setting, the existing planned records are deleted (rebuilding). New planned records are created with the initial status. If the opposite setting is made, the RBD account is excluded from processing.

Within the relevant activity, the posting status must be defined.

This Customizing activity supports wildcard characters. Wildcard is the name given to a placeholder in the form of an asterisk and allows you to make generalized settings for specific table columns. This minimizes the number of entries that need to be made and provides a better overview. Within this table, wildcards can be used only for the fields 'RBD Area' and 'Valuation Method'. Note that the specific entries are processed first, followed by the general entries.

The RBD accounts in RBD area 0001 with valuation method 10 are to be updated only if a planned record was not submitted for quality assurance. The accounts of RBD area 0002 are to be updated irrespective of posting status. RBD area 0003 is to ignore the release status, but take into account the manually adjusted planned records.
