Within this Customizing activity, for each source system, you define the EAD-relevant flow types that are to be considered within the time slice structure. You also use the flow type to define whether the movement of the cash flow is to be interpreted as an EAD-increasing or EAD-reducing movement.

The Customizing settings made here are used by the function IPX: Build Cash-Flow-Based Time Slices.

  • For contracts in the source system SAP-CML, cash flow items of flow type '0001’ (payment) are to be interpreted as EAD-increasing flow types for all source accounting units. (see row 1)
  • For contracts in the source system SAP-CML, cash flow items of flow type '0110’ are to be interpreted as EAD-reducing flow types exclusively for the source accounting unit ‘0001’. (see row 2)

Make the following settings:

Valuation Method Risk provision position Supplying accounting unit Module ID source system Flow type source system Calculation type
20 10 * SAP-CML 0001 Increasing
20 10 0001 SAP-CML 0110 Reducing

0110

You can use wildcards in this Customizing activity. Wildcard is the name given to a placeholder in the form of an asterisk and allows you to make generalized settings for specific table columns. This allows you to minimize the number of entries required and ensure a better overview. Within the table, you can use wildcards for the field Source Accounting Unit.

Note that the specific entries are processed first, followed by the general entries.
