/IBX/RUN_TYPE - Define Run Type

The run type is used to enable several different variants to be started for a defined process.

The run type can be used to influence the use of various configurations from the generic functions.

Furthermore, the run type enables you to override, deactivate, and add individual process steps.

You can use the run type in the following activities:

• Override and Define Process Steps Based on Run Type

• Deactivate and Define Data Source Assignment Based on Run Type

• Assign Database Access ID to Data Sources Based on Run Type

• Assign File Access ID to Data Sources Based on Run Type
