The condition of the material is mapped by the first character of the batch number.

Therefore, the admissible conditions are checked when a new batch is created. A selection list of the possible condition codes is provided to help the user. This list appears in the Create Batch application (MSC1N). The selection can be restricted to certain movement types for goods movements.

In this Customizing activity, you can define the movement types for which the selection list of condition codes is to be provided.

The Condition Code Change indicator is only relevant for the transfer movement types. If the indicator is selected, the selection list is also activated when the receiving batch is determined.
