AM_ALERT_PP - BAdI: Enhancement of the PP/DS-Alert List

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Alert Monitor component.
You can use this BAdI to manage PP/DS alerts. By implementing this BAdI you can enhance the standard PP/DS alert determination process in the following ways:
- Customer-Defined Alerts
- With the READ_CUSTDEF_ALERTS method, you can determine alert situations, and create and add alerts of customer-defined alert types.
- Network Alerts
- The standard functionality of the alert monitor allows you to determine alerts from the order network only for alerts evaluated by liveCache. However, with the READ_CUSTDEF_NETALERTS method, you can add self-determined alerts to the list of alerts of network nodes or orders. In this way, you can monitor alert situations not provided by liveCache.
If you wish to use this BAdI for self-defined PP/DS alert types, you must define your own PP/DS alert types.
In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation. No default code is executed automatically.
The BAdI is not filter-dependent and can be used multiple times.

SAP provides a sample BAdI implementation for the READ_CUSTDEF_NETALERTS method. The example determines "order in past" alert situations on network orders.
