APO_BADI_CTM_MATLOC - Define Adjustment of Product Data or Location Data

The Business-Add-In (BAdI) /SAPAPO/CTM_MATLOC is used in the application component APO-SDM-CTM and called in the function module /SAPAPO/CTM_INT_MAT_READ.
The location product data, among other things, is required for CTM planning. With Business Add-In /SAPAPO/CTM_MATLOC, you can temporarily change individual attributes of a location product for a CTM planning run. The changes affect both the CTM master data check and the CTM planning run.
The changes do not affect the actual master data definition or other applications.
- The BAdI is not active in SAP R/3.
- The BAdI is not filter-dependent.
- The BAdI can be used many times.
According to the planning scenario, different procurement indicators are required for the same product. It may, for example, be necessary to prevent creation of new purchase requisitions for planning runs and to limit the demand fulfillment to the use of existing orders.
In example-coding for this BAdI, this case is implemented: In the CTM profile XYZ, the procurement indicator is set to E (in-house production) to prevent the creation of new orders on locations from type vendor. If there are no PPMs for these locations, CTM can only use existing orders and cannot create new orders.
