APO_DEMPL_MAPPE - Define Planning Book
CPI1466 during Backup BAL Application Log DocumentationThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Planning books are used in Demand Planning and in Supply Network Planning. They allow you to configure the planning screen according to your individual user requirements. A planning book is based on a planning area.
You can define one or more data views in a planning book. These data views can be used to alter the information display for different users (to display different key figures for different users, for instance).
You can also create and change planning books in the design mode of interactive Demand Planning or Supply Network Planning.
Supply Network Planning is shipped with the following standard planning books:
- 9ASNP94 for Supply Network Planning
- 9ASOP for Sales and Operations Planning (SOP)
- 9ADRP for Distribution Resource Planning (DRP)
- 9AVMI for Vendor-Managed Inventory
- 9ASA for Scheduling Agreement Processing
- 9ASNPHRPL for Hierarchical Planning
- 9ASNP_PS for Product Interchangeability Planning
- 9ATSOPT for optimization-based planning considering time-based constraints
For Supply Network Planning, we recommend that you use standard planning books. You should use the standard planning books as templates when creating your own additional planning books.
For more information (about how to create planning books, for instance), see the SAP Library: Demand Planning -> Demand Planning Process-> Planning Book Design and Supply Network Planning -> Supply Network Planning Process -> Planning Area Administration -> Planning Book.
