APO_PPS_BKEYFUN - Make SNP Key Figures Available

In this process step you specify which Supply Network Planning (SNP) key figures (that you can define in the interactive planning for SNP) should be available in Capable-to-Matchplanning (CTM) or in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling(PP/DS). These key figures are, for example, the time-dependent safety stocks and days' supplies.

SNP stores data under key figures. (You maintain key figures in the Data Warehousing Workbench, for example in the Customizing for SNP.) You assign these key figures to planning object structures (for example, location product or resource) and you assign these planning object structures to planning areas.

Not all PP/DS heuristics can process time-dependent safety stocks and days' supplies. For more information, see the documentation for heuristics.

Safety stock and days' supply are dependent on the planning object structure location product. You assign location products to planning areas in the SNP customizing. Use the same planning area here.
