You define the strategy profile in this work step.

You define the detailed scheduling strategies for Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling in a strategy profile.

Standard settings

Activities

1. If you want to work with your own strategy profiles, you can create strategy profiles.
2. Define the strategy settings for each strategy profile.

For more information about the settings in the strategy profile, see the SAP Library under Supply Chain Management -> Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) -> PP/DS Process -> Interactive Planning -> Detailed Scheduling Topics -> Detailed Scheduling -> Control of Detailed Scheduling.

Further notes

Modifiability of Strategy Settings

You can change the settings of the strategy profile used at any time in interactive Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling; in the overall view of the strategy profile, all settings can be changed; in the PP view, you can only change the settings relevant for Production Planning (PP).
