In this IMG activity, you choose a requirements profile that you want to use as the standard requirements profile in reservation planning.
The standard requirements profile contains default values for the availability check against restrictions, that is executed in reservation planning. These values are copied to the proposed orders as proposed orders do not contain any control parameters for the availability check against restrictions - as opposed to sales orders.
You create the requirements profile in the Implementation Guide under Advanced Planning and Optimization --> Global Availability Check (Global ATP Check) --> General Settings --> Maintain Requirements Profile.
The fields of the standard requirements profile are used in reservation planning as follows:
- Category for sales orders when converting proposed orders into sales orders for releasing daily packages.
- Check mode for sales orders for converting proposed orders into sales orders for releasing daily packages.
- Used in stock determination for proposed orders.
- Used in stock determination for proposed orders.
