In this Business Add-In you can change data when loading data from an InfoCube into a planning area. The following methods are available:

  • CHANGE_CUBE_DATA

The following changes are allowed after the data is read from an InfoCube.

  1. ,,Change the characteristic value combination
  2. ,,Change the key figure values
  3. ,,Create new records in the selected time range
  4. ,,Delete the records
  5. ,,Convert the quantity unit

You cannot change the periods, time buckets and the grouping condition. If the data is loaded at an aggregated level, the system only fills record of the table CT_SEL_VALUESwith the values of the characteristics that you have selected in the grouping condition. Therefore, the combination values can only be changed in a record. This means that they cannot be removed or added in a record because the aggregated level cannot be changed after the data is loaded from an InfoCube. If the combination values are changed, the selection condition should be updated.

  • CHANGE_DATA_BEFORE_SAVE

In this method you can only change the key figure values before they are saved in the planning area.

  • SET_PLOBJ_READ_OPTIONS

In this method you can change the options for reading the planning objects. By default, when parallel processing is not used, in the case of Demand Planning (except for CBF) flg_only_ids = true is set, so the characteristic (IOBJNM) and its value (CHAVL) are not filled for the target plannig objects in table, LT_PLOBV_TO, returned by subroutine REL_CUBE_DATA_PREPARE_SET.

If you need the planning object details (for example, you want to change values for certain characteristic values in method CHANGE_DATA_BEFORE_SAVE), you might set cv_read_options-flg_only_ids = false in this method.

Warning: setting cv_read_options-flg_only_ids = false may have negative impact on performance.

In the case of parallel processing there is no need for this method, because IOBJNM and CHAVL are filled in LT_PLOBV_TO.

The BAdI is not active in the standard system

The BAdI is not filter-dependent

The BAdI cannot be used more than once.
