APO_SDP_REL_SNP - Change Data During Release from SNP to DP

Use this Business Add-In to change data when releasing from SNP to DP. There are three methods. The first two are used together.

In the standard system data can only be released from SNP to DP if in the DP planning area characteristics have been defined for product and location. The values for location and product should be the same in both DP and SNP. This means that product and location must be contained together in at least one characteristic value combination.

• CHANGE_DATA_BEFORE _READ

This method allows you to change the values for product and location in DP before reading the data in SNP.

• CHANGE_MAPPING_SNP_TO_DP

With this method you can change the mapping between a location-product and characteristic value combinations in DP.

• CHANGE_QUANTITY_UNIT

You can use this method to change the unit of measure for a key figure. The method converts the key figure to the new unit. If you use this method, you should set the parameter CV_CHANGE_QUANTITY_UNIT to 'X' within your coding to prevent the system from executing thestandard function for unit conversion.

The BAdi is not active in the standard system

The BAdi is not filter-dependent

The BAdi cannot be used more than once.

Exampe coding is available for the methods CHANGE_DATA_BEFORE_READ and CHANGE_MAPPING_SNP_TO_DP. Since the two methods are used together in a relatively complex manner the examples have their own description.
