APO_SPP_RDPLSPRF - Define Service Profile for Inventory Balancing

In this IMG activity, you define the service profile for the inventory balancing service.

You create a service profile by defining a key for the profile and making the following settings:

• Rounding Profile: Enter the rounding profile that you created under Define Rounding Profile.

• Threshold value for cost-benefit analysis: If the benefit of a stock transfer at the specified threshold value is higher than the costs of this stock transfer, the stock transfer is carried out.

• Forecast Time Series ID: Enter the time series ID of the forecast. The inventory planning service uses this time series ID to determine the savings per prevented loss within the cost-benefit analysis.

• DRP Service Profile: Inventory balancing uses the DRP matrix for planning calculations. You can assign each inventory balancing service profile a special DRP service profile. You can create DRP service profiles under Define Service Profile for DRP. If an inventory balancing service profile is not assigned a DRP service profile, the system chooses the global standard service profile for DRP.
