APO_TPVS_33 - Define Number Range for Temporary Shipments

In this IMG activity, you define a number range for temporary shipments in TP/VS. A unique number is assigned when planned shipments are created (manually or in the optimizer). This number is based upon the internal number range that you define in this IMG activity.

1. To create a new interval choose Change Intervals.
2. On the Maintain Number Range Intervals screen, choose the Add Intervals icon.
3. Enter the required values:

No.: Enter a sequential number such as 01 or 02.

From number: Enter the start number of the number range interval; for example, 1000000000.

To number: Enter the end number of the number range interval; for example 2000000000.

Current number: This displays the last number that was assigned to an internal number range interval; for example, 1000002809.

Ext: Do not set this indicator (= 'internal').

1. Choose Add.

The numbers of the number range interval are not allowed to overlap with other number range intervals in TP/VS. This means that each number can only be used once.
