APO_VMI_03 - Maintain IDoc Settings for Stock in Transit

You use this IMG activity to specify the type of stock information provided to you through EDI from the ship-to party:

• EDI qualifier = 1
  The ship-to party sends warehouse stock or sales figures

• EDI qualifier = 2
  The ship-to party sends the total order quantity

• EDI qualifier = 3
  The ship-to party sends a proof of delivery (PoD)

• EDI qualifier = 4, sends the stock in transit quantity

If you have assigned an EDI qualifier to a ship-to party, the stock in transit will be determined for all the products delivered to the customer using this value.

• If you only use IDoc type PROACT01 and the quantity qualifier value '002' (stock on order at vendor) in segment E1EDP32, you have to maintain EDI qualifier value '2'.

• If you only use IDoc type PROACT01 and the quantity qualifier value '001' (stock) in segment E1EDP32, you have to maintain EDI qualifier value '1'.

• If you only use IDoc type PROACT01 and the quantity qualifier '007' (VMI stock in transit) in segment E1EDP32, you have to maintain EDI qualifier '4'.

• If you use both the PROACT01 and DELVRY03 IDoc types, you have to maintain EDI qualifier value '3'.

• Check which IDoc type the ship-to party is using and which stock information is sent through EDI.
