BA-CA-V_BUTEOPARV - Define and Store Application Rule Variants for EOP Check
PERFORM Short Reference ABAP Short ReferenceThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this Customizing activity, you define application rule variants for the end of purpose check in preparation for data archiving or destruction.
You can define application rule variants for Bank Customer Accounts (IS-B-BCA)with or without assigning them to a rule group. You can define different retention periods and residence times for each combination of application and application rule variant for the ILM object CA-BUPA.
You specify the assignment of an application rule variant to a business partner when you assign a retention period to a rule group for the ILM object FIBA_BUPA.
In BCA, if you do not use an application rule variant, you can create only one valid rule for the application and this rule applies to all. If you use a rule variant, you can register different rules in the ILM object CA-BUPA,based, for example, on the rule category (account holder, authorized drawer, or bank area).
- In transaction IRM_CUST_CSS, you have created a rule group and assigned it to ILM object FIBA_BUPA.
- In transaction IRMPOL, you have assigned the retention period for FIBA_BUPA to a rule group and rule variant. You have specified the attributes for the required policy (see example below).
After you have executed this activity, you can maintain a residence time for ILM object CA_BUPAwith a rule variant in transaction IRMPOL.
