SAP E-Book

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Commodity Management in Logistics (LO-CMM) component. You can use this BAdI to control which object and which item is relevant for each consumer for adding into the index. Default consumers are Period-End Valuation or Revaluation of Logistics Documents. Thus, you can control the registration of index entries, you can delete entries, or you can enhance the index entry. The BAdI is called in each CHECK_RELEVANCE method of the service application programming interface (API) and in the main method of the index maintaining API.

You can use the following BAdI methods:

  • Check relevance methods:
  • CHECK_RELEVANCE_DLV (Check Relevance for Deliveries with Goods Issue)

You can use this BAdI method to execute your own logic for checking the relevance of deliveries with goods issue.
  • CHECK_RELEVANCE_GR (Check Relevance for Goods Receipts)

You can use this BAdI method to execute your own logic for checking the relevance for goods receipts.
  • CHECK_RELEVANCE_PURCH_DOC (Check Relevance for Purchase Documents )

You can use this BAdI method to execute your own logic for checking the relevance for purchase documents.
  • CHECK_RELEVANCE_SALES_DOC (Check Relevance for Sales Documents)

You can use this BAdI method to execute your own logic for checking the relevance for sales documents.
Note:
  • The changing parameter CT_RELEVANCE (Index: Standard Table of CMM_S_IDX_CONSUMER_RELEVANCE) contains the standard relevance check result for each default consumer. You can overwrite this result with your own logic.

  • The import parameter IS_INDEX (Commodity Management: Index Table) represents the index entry in the form in which the system saves the index entry to the database.

  • ENHANCE_ENTRY (Enhance an Index Entry)
You can use this BAdI method to execute your own logic for enhancing an index entry.
Note:
The import parameter CS_INDEX_ENTRY (Commodity Management: Index Table) represents the index entry in the form in which the system saves the index entry to the database.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

For information about implementing BAdIs as part of the enhancement framework, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver Platform on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com/nw_platform. Choose a release and then Application Help. In SAP Library, choose SAP NetWeaver Library: Function-Oriented View -> Application Server -> Application Server ABAP -> Application Development on AS ABAP -> ABAP Customer Development -> Enhancement Framework.
